Tony set up F Squared from a background of 11 years of Insurance recruitment experience across the Lloyd’s and London Market, Broking, General Insurance and Life Insurance.
Having left the University of Warwick in the Summer of 2011, Tony found himself on the Risk Management recruitment desk at HFG. Successes here led to a move to Arthur Financial, where he was consistently one of the top performers and became a market leading name in Catastrophe Risk and Risk Management recruitment.
During his career, Tony has worked on a wide range of recruitment projects from graduate and entry level to CRO/Head of Exposure Management searches, with a high success rate. The key to this success is a consultative approach based on a strong knowledge and network within the market.
Outside of work, Tony is a passionate Crystal Palace FC fan and enjoys spending time with his young family.
John Flanders
Director
John has over 10 years experience as a Specialist Insurance Recruiter/Headhunter and previous to this spent 10 years within the insurance market.
John has built up strong networks within Underwriting, Broking, Claims and Delegated Authority Compliance, and has recruited for a wide range of leading underwriting and broking companies.
He joined the market in 2001 as an Operations Assistant at Hiscox. A considerable amount of time was spent as a Senior Underwriting Technician at Aspen Re, within their Property Facultative team. John helped set up international offices as well oversee the back office function of the team. Before joining the recruitment sector, he spent over 2 years within the Delegated Authority market at Canopius and Beazley, of which he is now a marker leader, recruiting from junior to senior level. John has a good understanding of the insurance market and the fundamentals of how it works. This proves invaluable from both a client and candidate perspective.
John’s personal insurance market network is unparalleled and enables him to find candidates that would otherwise be hard to find. This has been proven in some high profile placements within Underwriting, Broking, Claims and the Delegated Authority market.
Outside of work John is a keen footballer and represents the Lloyd’s Veterans football club, touring with them in Holland in 2017. As well as football, John is also a keen golfer.
